As it was our last week in Hiroshima we spent a lot of time with Aiko's family and Archie enjoyed himself eating his birthday cake. First he ate all the strawberries then he scraped off the cream before tearing apart the cake and finding more strawberries inside!- It's a good job he likes strawberries.

As part of Archie's Birthdays celebration we braved heavy rain and went to see Kinoshita circus. I think the adults were more impressed than Archie and at certain points John and Aiko had very sweaty palms as the perfomers (probably east European Ex-Gymnasts) hung by the teeth, feet and whatever else (?) high above the floor. Not many good photos but you get the idea!!!
It's a little late..... no it's very late but just before we moved to Yokohama Archie turned 2 years old- can it really be that long since we arrived in Japan just the two of us??!!! Archie was very 
lucky and got many presents but his favorite was a train set. Every day in Hiroshima Archie would point out the window at the bullet trains (which are visible) and so having a toy train was a big hit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk2q88UdmYk
Well it is finally time to go- sadly we have to leave Hiroshima- can you believe we have been here for more than two years- time flies when you are having fun! 
Since we have been here we have welcomed Archie into the world and watched him grow, crawl, stand up, walk, run and of course fall over. Now we move to Yokohama and will hopefully be able to see this all over again with Ni-ban.(No2)
Only one last weekend in Hiroshima which is a bit sad but to cheer us up we held a final part last weekend. John wheeled out all the alcoholic dreggs he had to see if 
anyone would be kind/brave/stupid enough to try and finish them but sadly no one was....so we gave it to Aiko‘s mum! There were loads of children running around so Archie had a great time.

The plan was that we would have lunch together relaxing under the cherry blossom whilst our children had fun. However Aiko was running around after AJ which means- no time to really enjoy the cherry blossom and no time for drinking...besides I'm pregnant anyway! This seems to be the way you have parties when you have children....isn’t it?! Maybe I should call this party “Not enough time to enjoy Sakura" Party !!!
