Kamakura

Kamamura is south of Yokohama and at one point in time was the Japanese capital- Actually the capital moved around quite a bit because of all the internal clans/wars that went on. Kamakura is famous for its giant Buddha and various temples but also it’s a quite nice town/city and it felt quite refreshing to be out of the city. Its somewhere you can see some older building and the average height of buildings was much lower so it felt less enclosed..

It was quite a hot day so by the time we got back to the car we were pretty tired but it was a nice day out.
