Another day, another Japanese tradition but this one was closer to AJ core values- lots of throwing things around and shouting. The basic idea is that certain people dress up with masks of evil spirits and the others throw things (usually beans) at them to banish them.... to get evil outside and bring happiness inside. For AJ the beans were replaced by paper and he probably wasn't so worried about the good/bad battle but at least he got to throw something.
