Anpanman and Anpanman slippers

You may not know this but there is a cartoon that is really big in Japan called Anpanman. Like most super heroes there is a theme and in this case the theme is food- So Anpanman is actually a superhero made from SweetBeanBread. Archie knows him as 'banban' and is a bit of a fan so his grandparents bought him some lovely slippers as a present.- as you can see.
In each episode Anpanman has many different side kicks from a whole list of bread , foodstuff such as shokupanman (slicedbreadman), currypanman (friedcurrybreadman)...who do battle against evil Bikingman which is a germ….what next!

Also there was a Anpanman event in town which we went to. Lots of things to do, see and sometimes get huffy about ( I want to go on the train) but generally good fun. You can’t beat a ball pool can you?- John ’bravely’ went on the bouncy castle type of things with Archie although it’s unclear who had more fun!
